What Does the Blue Background on the Pokemon Mean
What Is The Blue Aura Behind Pokmon In The Pokmon Menu
WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN? (Pokémon GO)
While playing Pokémon GO, Pokémon trainers can check out all of the Pokémon that they currently have in their collection by tapping on the Pokéball located at the bottom of their screens and then tapping on Pokémon. This menu, which is bifurcated into two parts one for all the Pokémon that you have with you, and one for the Pokémon eggs that you have, offers a scrollable list of all the Pokémon you have with you at any given time. This list displays the names, CPs and sprites of each of the Pokémon that are currently in your possession.
While perusing through this list, many Pokémon trainers notice an aura of a blue shade surrounding the sprites of some of their Pokémon, and most of these trainers wonder exactly what this blue aura is and what it represents. This blue aura is pretty well documented in the icons for Cubone, Horsea, Staryu and another Horsea in the following image:
Niantic has provided Pokémon trainers with lots of ways to recognize specific Pokémon in their Pokémon lists and be able to set them apart from all of their other Pokémon, ways like deeming their most valuable Pokémon their Favorites and giving nicknames to Pokémon that they want to stand out of the crowd. Seeing as thats the case, it only makes sense for Niantic to enable players to recognize freshly caught Pokémon in the Pokémon menu right away without having to tap on them to open their information card and see when they caught them.
Verify The Pokemon Cards Information
This is the first thing you need to do when authenticating a Pokemon card. By the information, we mean all the cards details.
The information that you should know about the Pokemon card includes:
- How much HP does this Pokemon have?
- Whats the correct spelling for the name?
- What is the rarity of this Pokemon card?
- What set does this Pokemon card belong to?
When there were only 102 Pokemon cards to collect, you could just memorize everything. Thats what hardcore collectors did to spot fake Pokemon cards.;They just knew every card out there.
As were more than 20 years into Pokemon cards now, knowing them all-let alone memorizing them- is much harder than it used to be. This is what Google searches are for!
So, all you have to do is Google the Pokemon card that youre trying to authenticate youll get all the information of the genuine card. Another way to do it is to use the Pokemon Card Database.
You can favorite this page and access it from your phone whenever you need to. Its like a Pokedex for Pokemon card collectors.
If the cards information doesnt check out, you dont have to proceed to step two. The card youre examining is fake.;
List Of Pokmon By Color
The color is a characteristic that can be easily recognized by sight; however, each Pokémon's color was made official with Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, where, in the Pokédex, it is possible to arrange Pokémon by this distinction.
The option was omitted in Generation IV, however it came back in Generation V and has been present until Generation VIII.
Each Pokémon is classified under one color, even though it has more than one color in its body. In most cases, the Pokémon's color is the one that predominates over its body. If the Pokémon has multiple forms, each form has its own color and may be categorized under a different color if it radically changes the colors of its body. Shiny Pokémon do not have their own colors.
The colors used for the classification are red, blue, yellow, green, black, brown, purple, gray, white and pink .

What Are Shadow Pokemon
Shadow Pokemon are 'mon that have been corrupted by darkness, which means they have been corrupted by Team GO Rocket. Shadow Pokemon have different movesets and primarily rely on Frustration.
As you'd expect, Shadow Pokemon look different from their regular counterparts, with sinister red eyes and a shadowy aura.
Obtaining Shadow Pokemon is tied to the recently-introduced Team GO Rocket. Periodically, Team Rocket will invade PokeStops at random.
Reddit user meier-anderson discovered these invasions last roughly 30 minutes. If you notice one happening, it's best to jump on it right away.
When a PokeStop is invaded, you'll see it take on a darker appearance, and the icon jerks around. Although invasions are random, Niantic has apparently increased their frequency since the mechanic first went live.
Once you challenge Team Rocket and defeat the Grunt's team of Shadow Pokemon, they'll leave one behind. You can then capture it in the same way you would for a Raid capture.
From there, you can choose to keep it as a Shadow 'mon or work to Purify it.
Have Nanab Berries handy when you encounter a Shadow Pokemon to make capture easier.
Why Are There Sometimes Darkened Scenes In New Anime
In the first Shingeki no Kyojin opening, I've seen some scenes with lower contrast or brightness, something like this:
And later, in the same sequence, a scene appears without that contrast change:
I've seen this kind of contrast change in the HxH remake as well, and the first thing that comes to my mind is that legendary Pokemon episode where a lot of kids suffered of photosensitive epilepsy attacks in Japan thanks to Pikachu and Co.
Does it has some relationship with that or there is another reason? Maybe a new law in Japan related to these flashy images on TV?
It seems this change appears only in new anime . Any clue around that time?
===UPDATED===
It's not just in the opening; here are more examples:
One of many scenes where the image is normal:
Then comes the darker scenes. Maybe it cannot be appreciated in the snapshots, but all are a full sequence of images appearing quickly with a bright background:
And then it returns to normal:
This is from the last HxH episode. At first, the image looks fine:
Then comes an attack and the image looks darker. Maybe the effect is not so intense as in Shingeki no Kyojin, but it is still there. Look, all these bright flashes coming from the hits seem not as bright as they should be:
And then the image looks normal again – compare the smoke color before and after:
==UPDATE 2==
So it is not an effect to make things more dramatic, but rather an effect included only on TV. I suppose the same applies to the other shots .

Why Are Some Pokemon Stats Red & Blue Also What Are

If you go into the summary, certain pokemon have stats that are colored blue and red. Like Defense might be red on an Hardy pokemon, since hardy raises defense. Zargon19 posted… It's the opposite, Red is the stronger stat and Blue is the weaker stat, it has to do with their nature.

What Does This Mean For Shiny Hunters
Well, put simply, it means that Neither Niantic or The Pokemon Company had proper control over the colors that were picked for the shiny sprites; until Generation 6 of Pokemon. It wasnt until they had control over 3D sprites of each Pokemon did they become able to choose specific colors for their Shinies.
Too many times have I heard and seen people complain about the dumbness of Niantic for not making a certain shiny a specific color or why didnt they just change the color. Too many players are ignorant about the reasons as to why shinies are the colors that they are and need to know that its not something that can be changed. Those of you who have played the main series Pokemon games or have an interest in shiny hunting will know that some of the sprites in the upcoming Gen 5 look incredible but those in Gen 6 and 7 look increasingly better.
The easiest way to visualize what I mean is to see the below chart.
How To Choose Your Buddy
Which Generation of Pokemon is the BEST?! (Top 6)
You can select a Pokemon to travel alongside you. Does it actually walk with you on the main screen? No, but it does stand next to you in the profile screen and a little icon displaying your chosen Pokemon shows up next to your avatar icon on the field. To actually select a buddy Pokemon, you need to tap on the picture of your Trainer in the lower left corner of the main screen. Then tap on the Menu button on the lower left. Tap on the Buddy icon between the Journal and Customize options. Then, tap on the Pokemon you want as your Buddy.Note: On the Pokemon screen, you'll see a speech bubble icon next to the Pokemon you chose as your Buddy, so you can keep track of what you're Pokemon are up to.

The Secret Reason Why Some Shiny Pokmon Look Bad
Shiny Pokémon are coveted collector items both in Pokemon GO and in the core game series, however it cant be denied that shiny sprites of some Pokémon look rather bad. From mismatched color schemes, to simply unpleasing color palettes, weve always wondered why some older shiny Pokémon look the way they do.
Luckily, an excellent video by KangasKid18 goes into details about the mechanics and algorithms behind shiny Pokémon colors, explaining why some shiny sprites in Pokemon Go look worse than others and why Niantic cant really do anything about it:

Trainer Level Influences Rarer Pokemon
As exciting as exploring new and unknown places for Pokemon are, you won't have to brave the most dangerous places on Earth to find rare Pokemon – instead your personal level will dictate the rarity of Pokemon that appear. To start, you'll often encounter basic pokemon but as you gain in level, there will be a better chance of finding both Pokemon with higher Combat Power , and rare Pokemon in general.
Tougher and rarer Pokemon will often be harder to catch – a green ring means an easy catch, yellow harder, and then orange and red. Difficult Pokemon may often break out of a Pokeball, or even run away. Consider using Items to make it easier before trying against these Pokemon.
Community And Cultural Impact
Eduardo Paes, then-mayor of Rio de Janeiro, stated that he hoped the app would be released in Brazil before the start of the 2016 Summer Olympics in the city , and United States presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton mentioned the app during their 2016 election campaigns. In late July 2016, during a public address, the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, compared a political issue about the date of an incoming referendum as preposterous as the hunt for the Pokémon. Shortly after the game's release, Bellatormixed martial artistMichael Page celebrated a knockout of his match opponent, Evangelista Santos by putting on a red Ash Ketchum-like hat and rolling a prop Poké Ball in Santos's direction. On July 25, Dwayne Johnson released a promo video featuring MatPat and Ali-A with himself as a tough, rare Pokémon.

How To Catch Shiny Voltorb
Voltorb can be shiny in Pokemon GO, and this is the perfect time to farm for its blue-white variant. Repeating the steps found above is the best way to get a shiny Voltorb:
- Find a PokeStop, or cluster of PokeStops, in an industrial area or college campus
- Activate a Lure Module or Magnetic Lure Module on as many PokeStops trainers can afford
- Put on an Incense and walk between PokeStops searching for that Voltorb shiny
Trainers lucky enough to live in a dry climate, or who are playing while its raining will increase their chances even further of finding a shiny. Teaming up with friends to share Lure Modules is a good idea if trainers want to save their hard-earned Pokecoins. Make sure to keep farming for shiny Voltorb even if 1 is caught, as it evolves into;Electrode, so 2 will need to be caught to complete the set.
Pokemon GO is available now on Android and iOS devices.

Restoring And Increasing Pokmon Motivation
To restore or increase Pokémon Motivation Trainer has to feed Pokémon defending friendly Gyms with berries. Increasing the Pokémon's motivation makes it harder for rival teams to capture the location.
Berries can be given to any Pokémon on Gyms controlled by a Trainer's team. Any kind of Berry can be given to a Pokémon – Golden Razz Berries, Razz Berries, Nanab Berries, and Pinap Berries. All Berries provide the same increase in motivation, with the exception of the Golden Razz Berry, which fully restores motivation; and the Nanab Berry, which increases the motivation by an additional 150%. In addition to keeping the defending Pokémon happy and strong for battle, Stardust and XP can be earned for giving Berries to Pokémon defending Gyms. A Trainer may feed up to ten berries per Pokémon before they are subjected to a cooldown.
Trainers can also remotely feed berries to Pokémon in friendly gyms, as long as they have a Pokémon defending that gym. To do so, the player must select either the corresponding gym badge for that gym or the Pokémon defending the gym , and then select "go to gym". This will allow the player to feed berries from a remote distance. However, berries fed from a remote distance are much less effective at restoring Pokémon motivation as opposed to feeding them from within the immediate vicinity of the gym; the only exception is the Golden Razz Berry, which will completely restore Pokémon motivation, regardless of the distance from which the berry is fed.
